Our 2008 new years message reflected upon our own great fortune: living in this country, engaging beauty, working creatively in the field we all love.
2009 has been a challenging year.
In such stressful times we tend to worry, thinking more about ourselves and less about others.
Approaching 2010, let’s pause and consider the beautiful people who create our carpets.
Let us take joy in the understanding that our efforts are sustaining entire families, bringing happiness and well being to hundreds of Nepalese.
As they may not have an opportunity to thank you in person, Lapchi would like to thank you on their behalf and applaud your participation in this bigger world.
May the benefit of our work together improve life for everyone we touch and may 2010 be a year of health, deep happiness and inner prosperity for all.
